You Cannot Legislate Morality
There are alot of things in our society that are legal but are not ethical.We must decide who we will follow, what man says or what God word says.We are operating too much on what the world is calling for and and losing the core of what God is calling us to stand on,the truth of his word.
Man has passed all kinds of laws,amendments and statutes to validate his choices and his actions.In his attempt to establish order and protocol he is merely opening a door for certain behavior and actions that cause conflict and division inside himself.As I have said many times man's greatest enemy is himself.He has pulled and twisted himself in so many areas it ridiculous.The confusion he wrestles with, is of his own making and until he acknowleges God's word as the final say so he can only sink deeper and be forever lost.
We must do what is right first for ourselves and after we do this, we then can begin to be just as fair with others.Wrong is Wrong......there is no kind of justification for that.Have you noticed that the laws man makes often times has loopholes in them,a way to get around them or manipulate them.But that is not the case with God Laws.
We are held to a higher standard to honor,keep,obey,apply and live through these laws.The key to God's Laws is based in your character.Is your character above reproach,are your faithful,thoughtful,repectful.selfless and kind to others?Your character is your key in the eyes of God that determines your futures in the next life,not your works or deeds.More than that we must have a relationship that is based in Loyalty and Commitment to God and what he has to say.
Look at how the world tries daily to justify and cover up its wickedness with Laws of the land to excuse conduct and actions.Look at how it has affected the family,the church,homes,marriages,and our youth.Spend some time with God's word and you will quickly discover why this world is headed in the direction its in.
Most man made laws are based in the FLESH and not whats right before God.But if we trust and recieve God's Words and make it a part of our everyday living, we can truly transform ourselves to a place of true comfort that can only be found through him.
