You're In God's Way
Every minute you lean to your own understanding you're in God's way.Everything we do we try to do is based in what we "THINK" is the best path for us.That's why we often find ourselves spiraling out of control at times,throwing caution to the wind in anticipation whatever comes back to us we will be able to handle or overcome.
What we have failed to recognize is our victory in every conflict or circumstance we encouter today was won at the cross.Christ carried all the weight of all our sins and shame well over 2000 years ago.Problem is we haven't let go of our will so his can come in and do the finished work in our lives.We are stubborn,selfish,egotistic,mean spirited,greedy, and lazy.Not all of us but enough of us are contributors to a very unstable society.
All we have to do to overcome the conflicts in our lives is "SUBMIT."I will tell your submission is not easy for one simple reason.We want control in and over our lives.We want some say so who we become,what we do in this world, how we impact it and what we get to do in it.Problem is with that is its not about you. It's about who called you for a great work to impact the world,yes the world.
Most times we struggle because we are trying to operate in who we think we are and not what God designed you for.You spend more time trying to listen to your own mind and reasoning and fail to seek who you are through Christ.We spend too much time seperating ourselves from our true self to satisfy too many things in our flesh.
By now if you've lived long enough and you've seen how the flesh can never be satisfied and how it can lead you down a path of unrighteous living and painful confusion. But all of that can be rectified by submission.Stop trying to figure out what God wants to do through and for you and recognize he has greater plans for you than you do for yourself.
